David Duvall continues his Act2PV concert series Celebrating the Songs of…. with the
music of Burt Bacharach and Hal David on Sunday, January 28 at 2 pm in the Red Room.
Bacharach and David are the most honored songwriting team of the 1960s and 70s, with such hits as –
The Look Of Love
Do You Know The Way To San Jose?
I Say A Little Prayer For You
I’ll Never Fall In Love Again
Walk On By
Alfie, and so many more.
With vocalist Dionne Warwick recording their songs, they reached Billboard’s Top 100 charts a staggering 57 times!
They also wrote the scores to the Broadway hit ‘Promises, Promises’ and the film ‘Lost Horizon.’
Duvall’s special guests for this concert will be Puerto Vallarta favorites Stephanie Wright Watts, Stolie, and Mark Hartman. Sheila Tranquila on bass and Aron Hernandez on drums fill the performing ensemble.
