PV Shares Foundation is proud to announce its support for three outstanding students from the Centro Universitario de la Costa of the University of Guadalajara to attend ZONA MACO, the most important contemporary art fair in Latin America.
The ZONA MACO Art Fair will be held in CDMX Feb 5-9, 2025. This event brings together leading and emerging Mexican and international artists and galleries, offering a unique platform for professional learning and artistic inspiration.
Thanks to this initiative, the selected students will have the opportunity to broaden their cultural and artistic horizons during a special two-night, three-day program.
In addition to their attendance at Zona Maco, the itinerary includes visits to two of the most influential galleries in Mexico and two Internationally renowned museums:
- Museo Jumex, to visit an outstanding exhibition of Gabriel Orozco, an
icon in Mexican Art, recognized worldwide. They will meet with the
exhibition Curator, who will present 300 works created over Orozco’s career. - Soumaya Museum, where they will explore the iconic collections of
International icons such as Rodin, Picasso, Dalí, El Greco, and Mexican
masters such as Diego Rivera and Rufino Tamayo.
The CUC students who will receive this valuable support are:
- Perla María del Rosario Contreras, Visual Arts for Plastic Expression
- Luis Ángel Escobar De La Paz, Visual Arts for Photographic Expression
- Pablo Antonio Martínez Aguirre, Architecture
