Teatro Vallarta is Puerto Vallarta’s largest venue (900+ seats) and hosts two major expat events this spring: The Third Annual ‘So, You Think You Can Rise?’ Variety contest on February 18th at 7 pm and ‘What a Drag!’ on March 03rd at 8 pm.
‘So, You Think You Can Rise?’ supports Refugio Infantil de Santa Esperanza, better known as RISE, a children’s shelter dependent on donations. This is their largest fundraiser of the year to help offset the 3,000,000 pesos the shelter costs to run annually.
‘What a Drag’ is an often hilarious show featuring straight men in drag and high heels, performing to raise money for the Women’s Shelter.
